Brie Simmons was in the middle of her workout at Snap Fitness in O’Fallon, Mo., when she looked out the window.
“He was completely nude,” Simmons said. “I thought he was a little disoriented. He was touching himself a little bit. I don’t know if that was intentional.”
The incident happened around 4 a.m. Friday. When Simmons called O’Fallon Police, she found out there had been another report of a naked man at nearby Club Fitness, just minutes earlier.
“It just might be that that individual realizes that there's people at that time in the morning at those locations. So, that might have been the intent,” said Officer Diana Damke.
Damke said, after the incident at Club Fitness, the man was seen running away. Simmons described him as a tall and thin, with blonde or grey hair. If caught, police said, any charges would depend on who saw the man.
“It depends, if there are children watching. It could be indecent exposure. it just depends on ages,” Damke said.
Simmons said she hopes the man is found. “My hope was that he was not trying to harm anyone,” she said. “Hopefully, when he is found, we can help him and go from there.”
