ST. LOUIS — A teen was left hospitalized after a shooting Sunday night in north St. Louis.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded just before 7 p.m. Sunday to a shooting in the 1400 block of North 10th Street in the city's Columbus Square neighborhood. There, they found a 16-year-old boy who had been shot in the leg.
The victim was taken to an area hospital, where he was listed as having "stable" vital signs.
The teen told police he was walking at the intersection of North 10th Street and New Haven Court when he heard gunshots and felt pain in his leg, police said.
No other details were available as of Monday morning.
