ST. LOUIS — A man died Friday evening after he was struck by a vehicle in south St. Louis.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said the incident was reported shortly before 6 p.m. at Gravois and Nebraska avenues, near the intersection of the Tower Grove East, Benton Park West and Fox Park neighborhoods.
A man suffered "massive head trauma" after he was struck by an undescribed vehicle, police said. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police did not release his name.
A crash investigation is underway.
