MANCHESTER, Mo. — Police are looking for two people who are responsible for four thefts from Walmart shoppers since June 3.
According to a post on the Manchester Police Department Facebook page, four shoppers at the Walmart on Highlands Boulevard found out their wallets were stolen when they went to pay for their merchandise.
In all four cases, the suspects work with a woman who distracts the shopper while the male suspects grab a wallet from victim's purse. The suspects immediately left the store, headed to the nearby Best Buy to make purchases with the stolen cards.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Manchester Police Department at 636-227-1410 or Crimestoppers at 1-866-371-8477.
Police are also asking shoppers to carry their purses rather than leave it in the upper child seat.
