SHILOH, Ill. — A Shiloh woman is wanted for physically hurting a three-week-old child who was in her care.
Shiloh police said on July 14 at around 8:30 a.m., they responded to a local hospital over injuries to an infant.
After investigating, they determined the injuries were caused while in the care of a family member. The child was treated for serious injuries at a local hospital, then transferred to a St. Louis area hospital for further care.
The St. Clair County Assistant State's Attorney issued a warrant Monday for Roxana Miranda, 39. She is facing one count of aggravated battery to a child, and two counts of endangering the life or health of a child.
Police said Miranda is still at large, and anyone with information on her whereabouts should contact Shiloh Police or your local police department immediately.
