ST. LOUIS — A man was killed after an argument led to a shooting at an apartment in St. Louis' Midtown neighborhood, police said.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting happened shortly after 2 p.m. at an apartment in the 3100 block of Olive Street.
A police captain at the scene said two men got into an argument. One of the men pulled out a gun and shot the other. Police said it is unclear what led up to the argument at this time.
The 42-year-old victim was later pronounced dead at a St. Louis hospital. His name had not been released as of Friday evening.
According to police, the suspect is in custody.
The department's homicide detectives were requested.
