Teen injured Monday night in north St. Louis County shooting

Police said the teen was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — A teen was injured in a shooting Monday night in unincorporated north St. Louis County.

According to the St. Louis County Police Department, officers responded at about 10:30 p.m. Monday to a shooting in the 2100 block of Kingsford Drive.

A teenage boy was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury, police said. His age was not specified.

The investigation was ongoing as of Tuesday morning, police said. No other information was available.

The Bullet Related Injury Clinic (BRIC) is a community-based clinic in St. Louis that helps people heal after they have been injured by a bullet. The BRIC was established to help people who are discharged from the emergency department after being shot.
