ST. LOUIS — Crime scene investigators are looking into a reported shooting in the Burlington parking lot in south St. Louis.
Officers responded to the 4900 block of Christy at about 1 p.m. for the report of a shooting. The investigation is very active at this time.
The store was open at the time of the shooting. It has been temporarily closed while police conduct their investigation.
A 5 On Your Side photojournalist counted seven evidence markers on the store’s parking lot—one of them was right outside the entrance and several more were on the lot along the sidewalk that leads to the entrance.
Two cars parked in the lot also were hit by bullets.
