ST. LOUIS — A man was fatally shot Sunday night at a gas station on the edge of St. Louis' Marine Villa and Gravois Park neighborhoods.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, 43-year-old Christopher Barnhill was shot in the stomach just after 7 p.m. at the MotoMart located near the intersection of Chippewa Street and Jefferson Avenue. He was found on the ground next to an Acura TSX, barely conscious and breathing, police said.
Barnhill was taken to an area hospital, where he later was pronounced dead, police said.
The Homicide Division was requested.
