Brothers charged in connection to shooting father of 4 in road rage incident

On Oct. 15, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges on 27-year-old Nicholas Marino and 24-year-old Joseph Marino.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — Two men have been charged in connection to a road rage incident in south St. Louis County.

On Oct. 14, a father of four was shot while driving with his children in the car along Lindbergh Boulevard, St. Louis County police said. He was rushed to a hospital for treatment. Police said his injuries were not life threatening.

None of the children were injured in the shooting. The children are ages 3, 6, 9 and 11.

Shortly after the incident, officers stopped a red Mitsubishi GTS that was using the shoulder to pass traffic. Police discovered the car was involved in the shooting and arrested the two men in the car.

On Oct. 15, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges on 27-year-old Nicholas Marino and 24-year-old Joseph Marino.

Nicholas was charged with one count of first-degree assault and armed criminal action. He’s being held on a $75,000 cash-only bond.

Joseph was charged with one count of unlawful use of a weapon. He’s being held on a $20,000 cash-only bond.
