MOLINE ACRES, Mo. — A man was found shot to death in a car in north St. Louis County early Monday.
Police responded to the 9800 block of Portage Drive at about 12:10 a.m. That’s in the Moline Acres area of St. Louis County. Officers from St. Louis County, Moline Acres and Bellefontaine Neighbors police departments responded to the scene.
St. Louis County police believe the man was shot while inside his vehicle, which then crashed into another parked vehicle on the street. The man suffered at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was located inside the vehicle on Portage Drive.
Monday afternoon, the victim was identified as 40-year-old Gregory Pickett of Glen Owen Drive.
