ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — St. Louis County police are looking for a man they said dragged an officer with his car on the parking lot of a south county gas station Tuesday.

In a Facebook post, the St. Louis County Police Department said officers were called to the ZX gas on Telegraph Road at around 9:10 p.m. for a person slumped behind the wheel of the car. The responding officer was unable to awaken the man at first so the officer tried to administer treatment.

The Facebook post said the man woke up and quickly shifted his car in to drive. Police said he drove off and dragged the officer 10-15 feet.

Police said the car is a two-door Cadillac with a manual transmission and loud exhaust.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Louis via email at Clouis@stlouiscountymo.gov or call the South County Precinct at 314-615-0162.
