Caught on camera: Police looking for man who robbed restaurant at knife-point

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — St. Louis County police are looking for a man caught on camera kicking a restaurant employee and forcing them to empty the cash register at knife-point.

The St. Louis County Police Department published security video showing a Dec. 11 robbery that occurred at a restaurant on the 1300 block of Covington Manor Lane.

According to police, the incident happened at around 8:45 p.m. The video shows the man walking into the restaurant, walking around the counter and kicking the employee who was at the cash register. The man then pulls out a knife and threatens the employee with it while demanding they hand over the money from inside the cash register.

Police said the man was about 6-foot tall with a thin build. He was wearing a dark hoodie and camouflage pants. He was also wearing glasses and had brown facial hair.
