ST. LOUIS – The Circuit Attorney of St. Louis charged a St. Louis man on Thursday for possession of child pornography.
According to charging documents, Eric Hanson, a 23-year-old resident of 5800 block of Westminster, was charged with six counts of possession of child pornography Thursday.
Officers said they identified a computer in the City of St. Louis offering files containing child pornography on a peer-to-peer network. The investigation led them to the home. After securing a search warrant, officers found a computer with numerous files containing child pornography.
Investigators identified six videos which contained images of child pornography. Hanson admitted that the computer was his and he downloaded the videos.
