BROOKLYN, Ill. — A 22-year-old St. Louis man was fatally shot in the Brooklyn, Illinois early Saturday morning, according to the St. Clair County Coroner's Office.
The victim, Lerenzo L. Arnold, lived on Highland Avenue in St. Louis, Coroner Calvin Dye Sr. confirmed Sunday morning.
Arnold was pronounced dead around 3:15 a.m. Saturday in the 600 block of South 6th Street.
The coroner said Arnold died of multiple gunshot wounds.
No other information was available Sunday morning.
