ST. LOUIS — A St. Louis man was sentenced to life in prison for shooting and killing two men in 2022.
Deandre Walton, 43, was handed two life sentences without the possibility of parole Monday in St. Louis Circuit Court.
He was also given two 15-year sentences for armed criminal action and a 7-year sentence for unlawful possession of a firearm.
Police said Walton killed two men on Feb. 28, 2022, in the north city neighborhood of North Pointe.
On the night of Feb. 28, police found Thomas Anderson III, 44, on a lawn in the 4800 block of Norwich Place. He had a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
The next morning, about 100 feet away, police found Tyler Vaughn, 32, in the 4900 block of Goodfellow Avenue with a fatal gunshot wound to his shoulder.
