FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. — An 18-year-old man was shot and killed in Franklin County, Missouri on August 1.
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office said that a man was attacked by two other men near the 500 block of Hill Drive in Robertsville, Missouri, at 8:57 p.m.
The man pulled a gun from his pocket and fired the gun at the two alleged attackers, according to Sheriff Steve Pelton.
The attacked man left the home on foot to another residence. The homeowner called 911, saying there was a man on the porch covered in blood.
Deputies attempted CPR, but the man who was shot was declared dead at the scene. He was identified as 18-year-old Andrew Townley from St. Louis.
The sheriff's office said the investigation was still underway.
