ST. LOUIS — A woman told police she was carjacked near Cardinal Ritter College Prep Saturday night.
Officers responded at 9 p.m. to Washington and N. Spring in the Grand Center neighborhood. The woman told police she was walking towards her 2008 Honda CRV when she saw a man standing next to the vehicle.
The 45-year-old woman told police the man kept his hand in the front pocket of his jacket and indicated he had a gun while demanded her keys and money. The woman dropped her purse and keys to the ground. The man picked up the items, got her in SUV and drove away.
The woman wasn’t injured.
She described the carjacker as being about 5 feet 7 inches tall with a medium build. She said he was wearing a black hoodie, dark pants and white clothing covering his face.
