ST. LOUIS — St. Louis police are looking for two people and a car in connection with a shooting at a gas station early Sunday morning in downtown St. Louis.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department released photos of two people and a black vehicle they are looking for in connection with a shooting at a BP gas station at 902 South Broadway. One of the photos shows a person holding a handgun.
According to police, the shooting happened at about 6:15 a.m. on Aug. 18. When officers arrived at the gas station, they found shell casings on the parking lot but no victims. They later received a call to an area hospital where two victims in their late teens or early 20s were dropped off for treatment of gunshot wounds. Both victims were rushed into surgery before they could talk with police.
The people who drove the victims to the hospital told police that they were sitting in a car on the lot when they heard gunshots. They sped off the parking lot and drove to the hospital.
