ST. LOUIS — Police are investigating a shooting in St. Louis City on Saturday morning that left one woman dead.
According to the St. Louis City Police Department, an unidentified woman, approximately 40 years old, was shot on Saturday around 11:30 a.m.
When police arrived at the scene near the 5000 block of Lindenwood Avenue, they saw the woman with a gunshot wound. She was not breathing or conscious.
Police have not said where she sustained the gunshot wound. However, the police report revealed the woman died.
Police have not released details about the events leading up to the shooting or details about the suspect.
