CREVE COEUR, Mo. — An investigation is underway after would-be robbers tried to steal an ATM in Creve Coeur early Thursday morning.
Around 4:30 a.m., officers arrived at a bank in the 11400 block of Olive Boulevard after an alarm went off. An abandoned truck and a damaged ATM were discovered when police got there.
Investigators believe the truck was used to access cash inside the ATM. It is unclear if any money was stolen.
The truck used in the attempted robbery was not reported stolen at this time.
