PAGEDALE, Mo. — A teenager was arrested and charged with murder in the shooting death of a 15-year-old boy in Pagedale last week.
The Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis announced Sunday that a minor was charged with one count of second-degree murder, two counts of first-degree assault and three counts of armed criminal action in connection with the death of Lawrence A. Clark. Officials did not release the suspect's name because he is a minor.
Officers with the Pagedale Police Department responded Wednesday afternoon to the shooting on the 1500 block of Purdue Avenue. They arrived to find Clark shot in an alley between Bradford and Purdue avenues.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police did not release further information on the suspect or the circumstances of the shooting.
