ST. LOUIS — St. Louis city police are investigating a shooting that injured a teen Thursday night in the Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood.
Police said, according to the 16-year-old victim, he and two other friends were walking near the intersection of Sullivan Avenue and North Garrison Avenue at around 7:30 p.m. when they heard gunshots, and the teen was struck.
Police said the group went to a relative's house after the shooting, and the victim was privately taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his thigh.
Police said he was listed in stable condition.
