ST. LOUIS — A 17-year-old was hospitalized after he was grazed by glass during a shooting Monday night in the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said.
The shooting happened near the intersection of Semple and Wabada avenues, police said. A male and female, both 17 years old, were reportedly sitting in a vehicle when occupants of a gray Nissan Sentra fired at them.
The 17-year-old male told officers he shot back at the Sentra during the incident. Police said they don't know if any of the suspects were hit.
The male was transported to the hospital for treatment, police said. The female wasn't injured.
