ST. LOUIS — St. Louis police are investigating a shooting that happened on Wednesday at around 4 p.m.
A man told police he was stopped in his car at the intersection of West Florissant Avenue and Riverview Boulevard.
He told them a silver SUV drove up and he saw man inside wearing a ski mask, who shot at him.
Police said the victim was taken to an area hospital and treated for a gunshot wound.

Correction made Sept. 26, 2024: An earlier version of this report mentioned two similar incidents that occurred near each other based on information from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. The department later said that it inadvertently provided information on the same incident twice.
