2 dead in murder-suicide Saturday night

St. Louis County police confirmed a man, about 19 years old, shot a 15-year-old boy, then shot himself. Both died at the hospital.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — Two people, including a teenage boy, have died after a murder-suicide Saturday night. 

The St. Louis County Police Department confirmed Sunday 19-year-old Tadarious Jackson shot his cousin, 15-year-old Quintez Robinson, then shot himself.

Police said Jackson and Robinson lived in Covington, Georgia. 

Officers from the north county precinct responded to a call for shots fired shortly after 9:30 p.m. in the backyard of a home in the 300 block of Shepley Drive when they found Jackson and Robinson suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, police said. 

Police said they were suffering from life-threatening injuries when they were transported to the hospital Saturday night. 

Sunday morning, St. Louis County police confirmed both Jackson and Robinson had died from their injuries. 

At this time, it is not known what led up to the shooting.
