19-year-old killed in double shooting identified

Cartrell Amos, 19, was found shot to death near the back door of a home in the 6000 block of Schulte Avenue around 8:25 p.m.

ST. LOUIS — Police have identified a man who was shot to death in north St. Louis Wednesday night.

Cartrell Amos, 19, was found shot to death near the back door of a home in the 6000 block of Schulte Avenue around 8:25 p.m.

A 14-year-old was also found inside the home with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital. His family identified him as Marcus Williams amd said he was still in critical condition as of Friday afternoon.

Police do not have anyone in custody in connection to the shooting. Anyone with information should contact the Homicide Division at 314-444-5371 or CrimeStoppers at 866-371-8477.

A fundraiser has been set up by family for Marcus' medical bills.
