St. Louis party turns dangerous when man pulls knife out | 3 injured

ST. LOUIS — Early Sunday morning the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department was called about an altercation involving a knife at a party.

Officers in District 5 arrived at the 1200 block of Hodiamont Avenue around 1 a.m. to find three men injured in the aftermath of a fight.

During an argument one of the men pulled a knife out and stabbed the other man, police said after the preliminary investigation.

In an attempt to break up the fight, two other men were also cut by the knife before the suspect left the scene, according to the police report.

A 30-year-old man with lacerations on his leg refused medical treatment, police said. Police also shared that the 24-year-old man who was stabbed in the neck was listed in stable condition. 

An unidentified man was transported to a hospital where he underwent surgery and was listed in critical condition. He was stabbed in the abdomen, police said. 

Police said multiple people attended the party. Police did not share whether a suspect has been arrested at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
