A jury indicted a Granite City woman Thursday in connection with a heroin overdose earlier this year.
Jessica Burris, 30, was indicted on one count of drug induced homicide, a press release from Illinois State's Attorney Thomas Gibbons said.
Burris was originally charged with two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance in early June, and is now facing the third charge after the jury indictment.
Burris is in custody at the Madison County Jail under a $100,000 bond.
