ST. LOUIS — Police are investigating after police said a woman was shot and killed in north St. Louis Monday morning.
Police were called to a disturbance and a shooting on the 5900 block of Mimika Avenue in St. Louis' North Pointe neighborhood at around 11:30 a.m. When they arrived, police found a woman inside a house suffering from a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
