ST. LOUIS — St. Louis is home to one of the best universities in the country, according to a new ranking from WalletHub.
The financial website just released its ranking for 2020. WalletHub compared more than 1,000 higher-education institutions in the U.S. and based the rankings on 33 factors, including student selectivity, cost and financing and career outcomes.
With everything considered, Washington University in St. Louis was ranked No. 24 in the country.
The school ranked No. 1 in the country in graduation rate and gender and racial diversity. Wash U was No. 2 in the country in admission rate, student-faculty ratio and post-attendance median salary. It was brought down by the No. 16 ranking for the on-campus crime rate.
