Google Home Mini donut shop comes to STL

In honor of Google’s new ‘Home Mini’ being the size of a donut, they’re hosting pop-up donut shops in several cities, including St. Louis.

ST. LOUIS - Are you a fan of Google’s latest home assistant? Or enjoy donuts?

In honor of Google’s new ‘Home Mini’ being the size of a donut, they’ve hosted pop-up donut shops in several cities, including St. Louis.

On Nov. 9 at Cortex Commons hundreds of people lined up to get their hands on a donut and — if they were lucky — a new Google Home Mini, the company's new donut-sized smart speaker.

Kevin Jordan was the first at the event Thursday.

"I got here at 7 a.m and heard about it on Facebook, for the Google Home Mini donut shop opening. I went in line and actually got one this morning. All i had to do was react to it and then it sent a box down and I opened it up and I got one this morning.”

The event ran from noon to 8 p.m.
