‘Saturday Night Live’ announces next 3 hosts, musical guests

“Saturday Night Live” returns for three back-to-back new episodes beginning Saturday with Shane Gillis and 21 Savage.

NEW YORK — "Saturday Night Live" is returning for three back-to-back live episodes.

The long-running sketch comedy series has announced the hosts and musical guests for all-new episodes set to air Feb. 24, March 2, and March 9.

Stand-up comedian Shane Gillis will host for the first time on Saturday, Feb. 24. 

The episode will feature rapper 21 Savage performing as musical guest for the first time.

Emmy Award-nominated actress Sydney Sweeney will make her "Saturday Night Live" hosting debut on Saturday, March 2. Sweeney currently stars in the movies "Madame Web" and "Anyone but You."

Kacey Musgraves will perform for the third time as musical guest on March 2.

“Dune: Part Two” star Josh Brolin will host the show for the third time on Saturday, March 9.

Grammy Award winner Ariana Grande will return for her third appearance as musical guest. Grande's new album, “Eternal Sunshine,” is set for release March 8.

Hosts so far this season on "Saturday Night Live" have included Pete Davidson, Bad Bunny, Nate Bargatze, Timothée Chalamet, Jason Momoa, Emma Stone, Adam Driver, Kate McKinnon, Jacob Elordi, Ayo Edebiri, and Dakota Johnson.

“Saturday Night Live” won the 2022 Emmy Award for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels.
