ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — When St. Louis mom Jessica Marie Ferree was planning a Taco Bell-themed first birthday party for her youngest son, Zeke, she decided she needed a great photo to go along with the invitations.
So she contacted Leave it to Beaver photography, who set up a photo shoot of Zeke's cake smash at the Taco Bell on South Lindbergh Boulevard.
Zeke dug into a cake shaped like the Taco Bell logo. A taco, a burrito and a Baja Blast Freeze were of course thrown in for good measure.
The resulting pictures were adorable -- and they ended up being seen by way more people than Ferree invited to Zeke's party.
Leave it to Beaver photography posted the photo shoot on its Facebook on June 6, and it spread like wildfire.
The post now has more than 14,000 comments and 26,000 shares.
“The photographer made my dreams come true!" said Ferree. "I’m obsessed with Taco Bell. I love it. What’s not to love? I don’t care if it’s not real Mexican food. It’s good!”
Even Zeke's shirt is themed after a Taco Bell Fire Sauce packet, reading: "Fired up for my first!"
"Play Gloria" was also written on one of the Fire Sauce balloons, which Ferree added in for her husband, who is a huge Blues fan. "Well, it must have worked because the Blues won the cup on his 32nd birthday!” Ferree said.
If the photos are any indication, Zeke seems to take after his mother's Live Mas lifestyle.
