ST. LOUIS — Triston Walsh was surprised with his dad's Bronco for his 16th birthday.
Triston's dad, Sergeant Nick Walsh, was a U.S. Marine who was killed by a sniper during his second tour of duty near Fallujah.
The big surprise meant a lot to their family.
His wife, Julie moved her husband's treasured 1991 Ford Bronco with her back to Millstadt after his death.
The Bronco sat in her garage for years.
Triston and his younger brother Tanner thought their mom sold the truck, but it was actually towed to Mertz Ford in Millstadt to get spruced up.
The whole town pitched in to get the Bronco looking great again. Everyone loved how the Bronco-surprised turned out.
