ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis family is sending out a cry for help after they said their relative went missing almost two weeks ago.
Jasmine Evans said their family started to worry when her cousin 26-year-old Crishaun Hilliard missed work and Christmas dinner, and they haven’t been able to contact him.
"We actually searched last night through north city going through vacant buildings different local clubs, bars. We were just handing out flyers to any and everybody, talking to people at bus stop," Evans said.
She said their family has spent countless hours over the past two weeks searching for her cousin. It's because on Christmas Eve Hilliard didn’t show up for his shift at Taco Bell, and no one has seen or heard from him since that day.
Family members said he attended Harris Stowe and had dreams of being a pastor since he was a kid.
"It’s actually his name here in the area it’s church boy. he’s known as wearing a suit carrying a briefcase and bible and he's never missed church," Evans said.
So, when he didn’t show up for church service that Sunday they knew something was wrong.
"His phone was turned off, so we went looking for him we realized we hadn't heard from him. His cell phone was completely turned off," Evans said.
Now they've been spending all the time they can to try and figure out where he could be.
“Some of us have committed to actually ride the entire train today just stopping passing out flyers and asking questions. We’re hoping for any chance that we may be able to find him,” Evans said.
And Hilliard’s sister Christina Hilliard said they are relying on their faith to help bring him back.
"Our family, we are a praying family so whatever happens it’s in God's hands," Christina said.
Family members are asking for any and everyone in the St. Louis metropolitan area to contact police if you see Crishuan or if you know anything about his disappearance. And they are asking for prayers for their family during this difficult time.
