UNION, Mo. — A 13-year-old died after the ATV he was driving flipped Tuesday afternoon.
According to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened in a field near Sandstone Trail and Camp Mo Val Road in Union.
Police said the boy and two others were riding on the ATV in the field at around 6:20 p.m. When he tried to make a turn, the ATV flipped.
An ambulance was called to the crash, where ambulance workers pronounced the driver dead.
The passengers, both 13-year-old boys, suffered injuries. One of the boys was taken to the hospital with serious injuries while the other boy suffered minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital.
None of the boys were identified in the crash report.
