BELLEVILLE, Ill. — A fire displaced a number of people inside of an apartment complex late Tuesday night.
The Belleville Fire Department was called out to the 400 block of North High Street around 10:30 p.m. for reports of a residential building on fire. Upon arrival, firefighters fought the two-alarm fire, which forced out two families inside the complex.
No one inside the building was injured. Red Cross was requested to assist in both families living conditions.
