ST. LOUIS – An investigation is underway after four young children were in a car when a 28-year-old woman was shot south of downtown St. Louis on Saturday.
Police responded to the 1100 block of St. Ange around 11:30 p.m. where the woman was found with a gunshot wound to her shoulder. She told police she and a 29-year-old woman, two 9-year-old boys, 6-year-old boy and 1-year-old boy were inside a car when two unknown men, who were standing outside, started shooting into her car.
The woman was transported to a hospital. No one else was injured.
