MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ill — Two women were killed in a head-on crash on Illinois Route 127 Thursday morning.
The crash report from the Illinois State Police said the crash happened a little after 8 a.m. near the intersection of Route 127 and North 21st Avenue.
The report said 23-year-old Samantha Lapradd was driving her 2018 Chevrolet Equinox when she crossed the center line into oncoming traffic. She hit a 2012 Ford Mustang head-on, killing her and the other driver, 39-year-old Valerie Sheldon.
Investigators with the Illinois State Police are still looking into the crash.
