ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — After leading officers in a lengthy police chase at speeds over 100 mph, three suspects wanted for robbing a South County QuikTrip Tuesday morning were arrested, police said.
According to a St. Louis County Police Department spokesperson, officers responded to a report of a robbery at the QuikTrip at Union Road and Reavis Barracks Road around 2:40 a.m. Tuesday. A short time after the robbery, the suspects were spotted.
Police tried to pull over the suspects, but they refused to stop. That's when the pursuit began.
The pursuit ended when the suspect vehicle became disabled. Police have not yet specified how the vehicle became disabled.
Police could not share the total value of the cigarettes and cash stolen during the robbery.
