One man dead after 5 people shot in north St. Louis

11 people in total were shot in several incidents across St. Louis on Saturday morning.

ST. LOUIS – An investigation is underway after five people were shot in north St. Louis early Saturday morning. One man died from his injuries.

The shooting happened at Union Boulevard and Northland Avenue around 3 a.m.

Police said three men and two women were shot and were taken to an area hospital.

No other details have been released.

Six other people were also shot in separate incidents across St. Louis Saturday morning:

  • Just before 1 a.m., a man who was shot in the leg at Delmar Boulevard and Hamilton Avenue arrived at a hospital conscious and breathing.
  • At around 1:24 a.m., police responded to a call for a man who was shot in the hand and back at 4100 Pleasant Street. He was conscious and breathing.
  • At 1:44 a.m. police responded to 5100 St. Louis Avenue for a man shot in the arm. The injuries were not life-threatening. A second victim

    showed up at an area hospital with a gunshot wound to the thigh and was in stable condition.

  • At 2:38 a.m. police responded to 3800 Morganford Road for a man shot in the arm and leg who had arrived at a hospital conscious and breathing.

  • A woman was found shot several times at 12:11 p.m. near Union Boulevard and Hodiamont Tracks. Homicide is investigating.
