ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — Seven more people in St. Louis County have died due to COVID-19 since Thursday, according to statistics posted on the county's website.
The total number of confirmed cases is 2,054 as of Friday morning.
On Thursday, St. Louis County reported 2,026 confirmed cases and 63 deaths. The county has the most confirmed cases of any county in the state.
St. Louis County Executive Sam Page announced Thursday he will extend the stay-at-home order until further notice. He will reassess the situation in mid-May.
Gov. Mike Parson announced the state's stay-at-home order will be extended through May 3 and the state is preparing a plan help the state's economy recover.
