BELLEVILLE, Ill. — One of the country's largest food retailers is slated to open a brand new store in Belleville, Illinois, in mid-February.
An Aldi will open to the public just before 9 a.m. on Feb. 15 at 1805 Carlyle Ave. in Belleville. The store will be open daily from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.
According to a press release, the first 100 customers will receive a gift bag filled with samples of Aldi fan favorites and a gift card, which is a part of the store's Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program.
Shoppers could also enter a sweepstakes during the grand opening between Feb. 15-18 for the opportunity to win a $500 gift card.
Online shopping, grocery delivery and curbside pickup will be available at the location.
“Our stores are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster and easier,” said Rob Jeffries, O’Fallon, Illinois, vice president for Aldi. “We’re excited to open our first Aldi store in Belleville and introduce local customers to a new, more affordable way of shopping.”
