ALTON, Ill. - After searching for several hours, police in Alton recovered the body of a 26-year-old man Monday morning.
Around 1:15 a.m., police were called to the area of the Mississippi River near Argosy Casino after they received a call of a man who jumped into the river. His body was recovered around 10:20 a.m. near the river bank.
The man has been identified as Ashton A. Robinson of Alton, Illinois.
No other details have been provided.
