APRIL 17, 2015: NewsChannel 5 meteorologist Bree Smith was invited back to the “Today” show Friday to share some “parenting hacks” during a show segment.

NEW YORK – On Friday morning, NewsChannel 5 meteorologist Bree Smith was invited back to the "Today" show to talk about parenting hacks, tricks that make rearing a child a little less stressful.

She said it was pretty cool walking to work at Rockefeller Center even though it was raining pretty hard.

Before her big moment during the 8:30 a.m. half-hour, Bree did a satellite interview with us during "Today in St. Louis." She was live from a little building next-door to the studio where "Wake Up With Al" is broadcast.

Bree is part of the "Today" parenting team, authoring themed blogs each month. She joined two other "mommy bloggers" on the show Friday morning.

She shared parenting hacks from several local viewers – Penny Chastain, Marie Sammons, Christy Schmidt, Tina Queen, and Nancy Gillstrap.
