'We are thrilled': Here's when Buc-ee's first Missouri location will open

The travel center prides itself on having the "cleanest restrooms in America," along with the freshest and largest variety of food and drink options.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Buc-ee's will open its first Missouri location soon!

On Monday, the popular gas station announced it will open at 6 a.m. on Dec. 11 in Springfield, Missouri. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. with local leaders attending.

The newest location is at 3284 N. Mulroy Rd. off of Interstate 44. The travel center will be 53,000 square feet with 120 pumps. The convenience store will feature thousands of snacks, meals, drinks and Buc-ee's favorites including Texas barbeque, homemade fudge, jerky and more.

“Springfield is rich with history that attracts travelers from all across the country, and we are honored to be opening our first store in the birthplace of Route 66!” said Stan Beard of Buc-ee’s. “We are thrilled to bring Buc-ee’s to the community and treat our road-trippers to the hospitality that Missouri is known for.”

The Missouri location will join 46 stores across Texas and the South. Since 2019, Buc-ee's has opened in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina and Tennessee. A Virginia location was also announced earlier this year.

The travel center prides itself on having the "cleanest restrooms in America," along with the freshest and largest variety of food and drink options.
