Builder pitches new subdivision, with 121 houses, in St. Louis County

AFFTON, Mo. — A developer is eyeing property next to Interstate 55 in south St. Louis County for a new 121-home subdivision.

Chesterfield-based homebuilder McBride Homes has submitted a zoning request for the housing development, to be called The Grove at Grant’s Trail. The firm has the property under contract through an associated limited liability company, documents show.

A public hearing on rezoning for the project will be held March 11, by the St. Louis County Planning Commission.
