ST. LOUIS — Two Starbucks locations in the city of St. Louis have shut down temporarily in closures that have now lasted more than a month.

The closed locations are at 6 Cardinal Way, at Ballpark Village in downtown St. Louis, and 301 DeBaliviere Ave., just north of Forest Park in Skinker DeBaliviere. Signs on doors of both locations say the stores are temporarily closed, but do not provide further details. A spokesperson for the Seattle-based coffee chain confirmed the temporary closures but did not respond to questions about why the stores are closed and when they could reopen.

Starbucks, in its statement to the Business Journal, said both locations are licensed stores operated by T&S Food Services, a Mauldin, South Carolina-based firm that operates locations of Starbucks and Denny’s. T&S Food Services did not respond to requests for comment.
