ST CHARLES, Mo. — A resort and casino plans to triple the square footage of its meeting and convention center, making it one of the largest in the St. Louis metro area.
Ameristar Casino Resort Spa St. Charles, located at 1 Ameristar Blvd., plans to add 43,000 square feet of event space to its existing facilities, as part of a property-wide renovation effort, the casino said in a news release.
Once finished in fall 2025, the project would make Ameristar the largest hotel convention center in St. Charles County, with a total 65,000 square feet of meeting space, in addition to 400 all-suite hotel rooms and seven restaurants, according to the release.
The costs of the convention center expansion and renovation plans were not disclosed.
